Houston Rodeo

Molly and I loaded up yesterday and went to the Houston Rodeo (without actually going to the rodeo). We had a blast!  They really do a lot for the kiddos and my little cowgirl was in heaven!  Here are some pics of our day...
On the trolley ride, headed to the rodeo!
We went to the Cutest Show on Earth and Molly was chosen to be a cowgirl dancer.  Here's a link to the video of her dancing.
Here she is doing the swim!
And flipping the skirt!

She kept trying to get the guy's attention to ask if she was rinding a boy or girl pony.

First time to ride a camel!

Of course we had to stop by the sheep show!  Molly said, "Where's Chooch?"

This calf was born 30 minutes before we got there.  We really liked the Birthing Center!
Success!  Complete exhaustion... for both of us!  :)
We were really impressed with the Houston Rodeo!  We're already looking forward to next year's!

Horse Love

Molly LOVES horses.  Her Maga and Papa bought a new horse that she thinks is hers, so she was super excited to get to ride him while we were in OK.  They bought her her own hot pink blanket, lead rope, and reins for her birthday!  Her Papa told her that when she comes back in the spring/summer time (when it's not so cold) then she'll really get to spend a lot of time with her horse.  This is Jett (that Molly calls Scarlett.)

Also, while we were there, I called my friend Ashley to see if we could come visit them and see her horses.  She owns Saddleback Equestrian and has over 20 horses in her stables.  She was great with Molly.  She let her brush the horse, clean his feet, and feed him.  If you live in Broken Arrow and have a little one that loves horses, you should call her up!  She does Mommy and Me lessons for young kiddos.  This is Cody.

So after talking with Ashley, I thought I would call a few stables around our area to see if they offer any type of lessons for a 3 year old.  One trainer said she did, so we had our first lesson on Monday.  She was great with Molly too!  This is Cat.

I wasn't around horses growing up, so I think it's fun to learn about them with MollyPop.  We appreciate everyone allowing us to come love on your horses!

We Saw Snow!

While we were in Oklahoma for Molly's birthday, we headed to Coffeyville, KS one day to hang with more family.  We were excited because they had some snow we could actually play in!  This was the first (and only) time this year, we were able to play in snow.  It was fun!
MollyPop and DMan!
I love this face!  Boogers and all!  :)
Super excited to be playing in snow!
"On your Market, Get Set, Go!!"  Molly and Grandpa racing.
My best attempt of getting a group shot.  Lol.
My Big Girl!
Taken from my Brother's back porch... It was beautiful!
Glad we got to experience a little bit of winter... not much snow here in Houston!  ;)

Princess Molly's Royal Ball

We decided that it would be easier for the 3 of us to make a trip to Oklahoma, then all our family trying to get down to TX to see MollyPop for her birthday.  So I asked Molly what she wanted to do for her birthday, and she said have a royal ball and everyone dress up like princesses.  Knowing that I have to rent a venue anyway, I started looking for princes-type places.  And we found one!  It was perfect!  And the best part was, I didn't have to decorate!
The kids sang in the microphone, danced on stage, and played up in the "tower".  I think they all had a ball!  I know one little girl that did at least!  :)  Here are some pics...
