MolllyPop goes to school!

So my mom had to go back to work after having three months off with me. She cried her eyes out like it was the saddest day of all, but she made it through. Anyway, now I get to go to school. It's really daycare, but I like to call it school cause we have art, reading, and recess! I'm really liking it and am making new friends. Since mom's been back to work I've learned new tricks like eating from a bottle, laying on my back in a crib, and entertaining myself. Here's a picture of my first day of school:

Baby Dedication

Just wanted to let you know that something pretty big happened to me. My parents and I participated in Baby Dedication at our church. One of our friends called it Baby Donation, instead of Dedication. Ha! (They are all crazy!) Bro. Monty (our pastor) said that this dedication means that my parents will bring me to church and help teach me about Jesus. I'm excited! I have lots of friends at church and we have fun playing together. You should come hang out with us sometime- Southeast Baptist Church! Here are a few pictures of this special day:

My First Easter

Yesterday was my first Easter and it was great! We started out at church where my Grandma Donna took me in to big church so I could hear all the music. I love listening to good ole Baptist hymns and the church choir! Then my mom got me so Grandma could go listen to the sermon and we went to the nursery to play with 13 other little kids. It was wild! Then we went to Grammy's for lunch. They said next year I get to hunt eggs... not sure what they mean by that, but they acted like it would be fun. The only part I did not enjoy about Easter is trying on all those dresses to find the perfect one. I could do without that next year! Here's a few pictures to show you what I went through:

Dress #1 (I'm not having very much fun)

Dress #2 (Mom, quit please!)

Dress #3 (Mom, this is horrible! I hate dresses!)

And the winner... so glad we finally picked one!

Once we got my dress attire established, Easter was a great day! I had fun celebrating the resurrection of Jesus! I already knew he had risen and was alive because I saw him just a couple months ago before I entered this world. (I'm smarter than they think). Hope you and your family had a great Easter too and really celebrated the reason for the holiday! Love you guys!

Favorite Moments in the Saint Francis Hotel

So I thought I would go over my favorite moments at the Saint Francis Hotel...

1) When I first was being born, I heard my daddy's voice. He said, "I can see her hair" and mommy said, "She has hair!?!" I thought, "well of course I have hair and just wait, cause I have a lot more to show you!" Here's a picure of me with my mommy:

2) Once I was fully out of my mommy's tummy, I was placed directly on my mom. My parents just looked at me in disbelief. They thought I was so beautiful! And then my family came to look at me. Everyone kept saying how perfect I was. It was a pretty cool moment for all of us.

3) My first night in the hotel was fun. I got to see my dad get huffy with one of the nursery workers. Mom and dad had decided to get some sleep so I was going to go to the nursery for a few hours. So, my dad wheeled me down to the nursery and that's when he decided that I would not be staying with that mean lady all night, so he wheeled me back down to their room. We had so much fun hanging out all night together!

4) The next day was pretty busy. We had lots of visitors so I got to meet some of my new friends. I was trying to be on my best behavior so everyone would like me. At one point, mommy and daddy counted 18 friends all in one room! Here's a few more pictures of me to show you how cute I looked when I was meeting my friends:

5) Time to leave the hotel! My daddy was pretty excited I think. I've already noticed that he can't sit still for too long. Mom and I were escorted out of the hotel in a wheelchair, while dad went to go get the car. Then they put me in this thing they called a "car seat" and put me in our car. Grammie and Papa Dave waved bye to us and we headed to our home. I was so excited to see my home, that I stayed awake the whole way and it was like 45 minutes! There was just so much new stuff to see. Here's a picture of me in this car seat thing:

Favorite moments in the Uterine Hotel

I'm Molly! Here's a picture of me at 26 weeks.

I thought I would give you the top 5 moments over the last 9 months from my point of view:

1) When Mommy told Daddy, that I was coming. He was asleep and she was going running. I think they were both excited, but then kind-of acted like normal. Mom went on with her run and Dad went back to sleep.

2) When that man let Mommy and Daddy hear my heartbeat. They thought that was pretty cool!

3) When that same man told Mommy that he was 98% sure that I was a boy. He said he saw "my package". He's crazy! Did I mention I love suprises???

4) Back to that same man... I thought this time I better reveal myself so I didn't have a bunch of blue clothes. I think Mom and Dad were overjoyed with the my little surprise because neither one of them said anything for at least 30 minutes. They were so excited that they were speechless! I'm so funny...

5) The first time that Mommy felt me move. I'd been moving all around for a long time, but I knew when she actually felt me. She stopped what she was doing and put her hand exactly where I had been punching. It was pretty cool. We play all the time now. I like to show her just how strong I'm getting.

I'm sure there will be some more great moments before I check out of the Uterine Hotel... I hear leaving this place sometimes can be a struggle; that's why I'm waiting until I'M READY!
