Party Girl

Two weekends ago we went to my cousin's wedding and reception. They had a band and a dance floor, which Molly found very quickly! She danced more than any other person there. She started as soon as the music did around 5:30 and didn't quit until I made her leave around 9:00. She LOVED it! Here are a few pics...

Pretty girl!

Molly made friends with the ring bearer.

Get low...haha!

More pics of the people I LOVE...

Grandma and Grandpa Bunny...I love this pic!
These 2 are the best!

My Bro Jeff and Uncle Tony=TROUBLE!
Don't let the big smiles fool you.

Cousin Josh and Nephew Drake- they're cool guys!

Uncle Tony, Aunt Nan, Grandpa, Grandma, and Mom
(I come from GREAT people!)

My Grandpa and me!
Not much wrong with this man in my eyes. :)

I guess I never got a pic of the bride and groom. They were pretty busy- they were the stars of the show! Molly and I had a great time though and enjoyed spending the evening with our family. Great party Mr. and Mrs. Maritt (and their parents)!

I'm home again today. This time Molly has the throwing up virus. Ugh. Last week it was the high fever virus with an ear infection. I hope we get it all out of our system so we can be well again. Next week we move to BA, and need to be healthy!

Documenting Life: Helping in the Kitchen (Week 4)

The Documenting Life Challenge this week is Helping in the Kitchen. This really was a challenge for me and my 19 month old. Right now, she's really better at making a mess in the kitchen, then helping mom, but we tried anyway. We decided on her favorite- "cheese!" We actually did pretty good! Here are some pics...

I think she was satisfied with the results. Yum!!!

This week Molly hasn't been feeling the greatest. She has an ear infection and it won't go away. The doctor said one of her tubes is starting to come out. Ugh. I hate when my baby doesn't feel good.

Hope you have a good weekend! We're celebrating our anniversary on Sunday. 7 years. Love you Joel! Thanks for the beautiful roses.

Documenting Life: Fresh Out of Bed! (Week 3)

This week's topic in the Documenting Life Challenge is Fresh Out of Bed! My Molly is so sweet in the mornings. She stretches for a good while before she stands up. Then she's happy and ready for the day! I wish a good stretch was all I needed to get me going in the mornings. :)

So precious!

STRETCH!

Hold me momma!

Molly wakes up starving. Her first two words are usually "Daddy?" and "Eat!" So she goes into the living room to look for Daddy, who usually is already gone to work, and then it's to the food cabinet to get breakfast.

Hmmmm....what do I want?

My girl. I love her.

Molly's a pretty good sleeper. She goes to bed around 8:15-8:30 and gets up around 7:00. I've learned that kids NEED a schedule. It's funny to me that the earlier she goes to bed, the later she'll get up. Before Molly, I would've thought the later they stay up, the later they'll sleep! Nope, not true. Now I understand crazy mom's with their strict schedules. I try not to be one, but it does make life easier. :)

Hope you guys have a great weekend! We're headed to Coffeyville, KS to my cousin's wedding! Looking forward to some fun times with the family! (Congrats Zach and Samantha!)

Documenting Life: Favorite Book (Week 2)

This week the Documenting Life Challenge was to take pics of your kid and their favorite book. At this moment she is into "This Little Piggy". It is full of nursery rhymes/songs including "Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round" which happens to be one of her favorite songs right now too (thanks Barney).

One of Joel and my favorites to read to her is "Barnyard Dance". It's a fun little jingle that gives you instructions on how to do the dance.

Mollygirl is starting to act more like a little girl and not like my baby more and more everyday. I love and hate it all that the same time. She's so fun the older she gets, but it makes me sad to think that she'll never be this age again. It's going too fast. Love her!
