Documenting Life: Get in the Shot (Week 51)

So I'm a little behind. We are so close to finishing this year long project and then I putter out the last 2 weeks. Oh well... Here goes week 51. It's hard to get a decent shot of both of us at the same time so this one will have to do!

Have a great weekend!

Documenting Life: Family Pet (Week 50)

We have a Stinky Brother Moose.  He's an 8-year-old chocolate lab that loves to go hunting with Joel.  We got him the month after we got married.  Joel was going to TX for work and was asked to pick up his brother's new puppy while down there.  I remember specifically telling Joel, "Do not come home with a puppy!" and this little guy showed up.
Ok, so he never really was a little guy.
Of course, he was ornery as a puppy, but he's been a really good dog.  He was our baby until our baby came into the world.  We wondered how he would take the change of Mollypop being around.  He was awesome!  He lets that little girl do things to him that he would not dream of allowing anyone else.
So sweet...
Now she just bosses him around and he sometimes listens.  :)  But they love their runs together!
He always takes the lead and she's always yells at him to "Come here!"
And why wouldn't you go on a run in your princess dress and sunglasses that you found at the park?!?
Hope you guys have a great weekend!

Labor Day with Family

Like I said yesterday, we had a house full this weekend and loved every minute of it!  On Friday, we toured Minute Maid Park.  It was cool!

After the ball park tour, Sam and Bonnie arrived.  We went to eat at a mexican place in City Centre.

Yummm!
Bonnie and Sam
Saturday night we headed to the Astros ball game!  (Are ya seeing a trend here?  Chooch is an awesome ball player and MJ likes the Astros)

Because Donna always likes a pic of her 2 grandkids together.  :)
Daddy and daughter
The guys
My lil cuties
Sam and Bonnie
Tina and MJ
It was a great game!  They were tied 1-1, in the bottom of the 9th, with 2 outs and bases loaded.  SCORE!
Doc McStuffins helped us get through the 6th and 7th innings
And how we got through the 8th and 9th innings!  Ballgames take a long time.  :)
On Sunday, we loaded up and drove to Kemah Boardwalk.  It was the first time for Molly to see the ocean so she was excited!  She really wanted to go out on a boat.  She's definitely her father's daughter.

Riding the "Red Baron"
Uncle Sam helping her see the water
Another cousin pic (they're good sports!)
Bo and Sam (and Chooch, ha!)
Molly's turn to take pics
Me and my girl on the train!
My sweet lil family
The rest of the time, we just relaxed and enjoyed each other's company.  Oh and of course, played a little baseball!

Thanks to this crazy group for visiting us in Houston!  We had a blast!  Our bed and breakfast is always open to friends and family!  Any takers?  ;)

Documenting Life: The Whole Family (Week 49)

We had an awesome, but busy weekend!  Joel's brother, MJ, came to Houston with his wife, Tina, and son, "Chooch".  Also, Joel's BFF, Sam, came with his wife, Bonnie.  It was a blast!!!!  Thanks guys for coming to visit us!  I plan on doing a blog about our whirlwind weekend with pics, but until then, here's a pic of my little family at Kemah Boardwalk.  This was Molly's first time to see the ocean!

Oh and an update on potty training... we're still in our big girl panties and it's been a week!  There have definitely been some accidents and we're not 100% there yet, but we are making progress.  We'll see... Fingers crossed!
