Documenting Life: Celebrating America (Week 42)

Here's a pic of my lil firecracker...


Fourth of July was our first holiday to live away from our family. Joel's boss invited us over for the afternoon to swim and hang out. We then went back to our neighborhood to watch fireworks! Molly and I went on a "night ride" to get from our house to the commons area for the fireworks.


For those of you that don't know, a "night ride" is when you lay in the bed of the truck and look at the stars or street lights while getting drove around. My bro and I did this with my grandpa back when you didn't go to prison for not being in a car seat. Sooo fun! Molly experienced her first one a month ago when we spent the night with my grandparents.


I love sharing memories of my childhood with my girl! Gotta keep these traditions going!

Documenting Life: At the Dinner Table (Week 41)

So we don't eat at the "table". At our new house we have a huge bar that is the perfect height for Molly to be comfortable to eat at with the bar stools. We have 3 stools so it's good for us right now and easy to clean up for me. :)

Documenting Life: Water Fun (Week 40)

Yeah, I know I'm waayyyy behind. My life has been a little hectic. I'm gonna try to catch up this week. :)

For Father's Day we went to Grand Lake to spend the weekend with Papa Deanie and Grandma Carrot (Molly changed Karen's name, lol) . We had a blast! Here are a few pics from the weekend...

Horseshoe Bay TX
